At the start of the second half of Spurs' loss to Forest at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Easter Monday, the Premier League confirmed that VAR was down until further notice. Almost instantly, however, the issue was sorted.

The Premier League Match Centre tweeted at 9.08pm: "The match will be operating VAR until further notice due to a fire alarm at the VAR Hub at Stockley Park."

A minute later, the same account commented: "VAR is now back up and running."

THE BIGGER PICTURE

Aside from VAR issues, Tottenham are on course to have their worst ever Premier League season, with Ange Postecoglou's men sitting 16th in the division with 18 defeats from 33 games. Forest, on the other hand, are up to third and could qualify for next season's Champions League.
