Slovakia looked set for a famous win over England at Euro 2024 until Jude Bellingham forced the game into extra-time with a stoppage time goal against Calzona's side. While England now have a quarter-final to look forward to, there were some ugly scenes at the final whistle. Rice reacted angrily after being pushed in the chest by Calzona and certainly didn't hold back after being confronted by the Slovakia boss.

Meanwhile, the Slovakia boss told he was angered by England's tactics. “The lads worked so hard and followed what I asked of them to the letter," he said. "We allowed them a bit more in the second half, but that was to be expected against a team of this level. In extra time, it was one-way traffic, we pinned them back and they relied on time-wasting and obstructionism. I was angry because one extra minute of stoppages with the amount of time-wasting especially from their goalkeeper was not enough.”
